Croeso!

Cyngor Cymuned Bronwydd yn gwasanaethu pentrefi
Bronwydd, Cwmdwyfran a Pentremorgan

Adroddiad y Cadeirydd 2022-23

Y Cynghorau Cymunedol yw haen llawr gwlad o gynrychiolaeth ddemocrataidd yng Nghymru a Lloegr. Nhw yw’r bont rhwng awdurdodau lleol a chymunedau, a thrwy hynny dyma’r haen o lywodraeth sydd agosaf at y bobl. Mae Cyngor Bro Bronwydd yn cyfarfod pob pedwerydd ddydd Mercher o’r mis am 7.00 yr hwyr, ac eithrio mis Awst pan nad oes cyfarfod. Mae croeso i aelodau’r cyhoedd fynychu a gwneud cyfraniadau yn unol â Rheolau Sefydlog 2011. Prif ddiben y cyngor yw sicrhau bod llais y gymuned leol yn cael ei glywed ar lefel yr awdurdod lleol, ac yn bwysicach fyth o fewn ein cymuned ein hunain. Codir materion sy’n cael effaith uniongyrchol ar y gymuned, sef gosod y praesept, adolygu ceisiadau cynllunio a helpu i wella cyfleusterau ar gyfer y gymuned a’r grwpiau cymunedol perthnasol. Mae’r Cyngor yn cynrychioli’r pentref a’r cyffiniau gyda chymysgedd eclectig o bobl sydd ag ystod o wahanol brofiadau, gwybodaeth leol ac awydd i gyflawni’r gorau i drigolion Bronwydd a’r ardal

Welcome!

Bronwydd Community Council serving the villages of
Bronwydd, Cwmdwyfran and Pentremorgan

Chairman's Report for 2022-23

Community Councils are the grass roots tier of democratic representation in England and Wales. They are the bridge between local authorities and communities and are thereby the tier of government that is closest to the people. Bronwydd Community Council meets every fourth Wednesday of the month at 7.00 p.m., except August when there is no meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend and make contributions in accordance with the 2011 Standing Orders. The main purpose of the council is to ensure that the voice of the local community is heard at both the local authority level and more importantly within our own community. Issues are raised which have a direct effect on the community, namely setting the precept, reviewing planning applications and helping to improve facilities for the community and the relevant community groups. The Council is representative of the village and its’ surroundings with an eclectic mix of people who have a range of different experiences, local knowledge and a desire to achieve the best for Bronwydd and its’ inhabitants
